What to Expect

Our trusted transport team will bring your loved one into our care at our electronically secured facility.

The Phoenix Crematory will ensure proper storage of your loved one and listing any personal effects. They will be tagged with an ID tag to help ensure that the person you entrusted us with is the person whose remains you will receive.

3.

We notify Social Security of your loved one's passing and help you gather all relevant biographical information over the phone and through our system to process the death certificate for your family.

4.

Once the paperwork is completed and the death is registered, we will be granted a permit for cremation.

5.

The Phoenix Crematory will schedule the cremation within 5 to 14 days of receiving all proper paperwork (cremation autorization, medically certificed death certificate and permit) and payment.

If you choose the enhanced package, you can submit the obituary in a text file and the photo in a jpg file to info@thephoenixcremations.com. Please specify if you want the obituary published in a newspaper and we can get back to you with the newspaper price. We are happy to write an obituary for you for an additional $50 to the enhanced package.

7.

After completion, you will get an email and/or phone call to schedule an appointment to pick up the cremated remains of your loved one. We value all our families and require appointments for pick up so that each can have the time they need. If death certificates were also ordered, they are usually ready for pick up at the same time.
